IMPORTANT INFO about the form

There is currently a bug impacting this form! We are waiting for a fix. In the meantime, please choose your answers to multiple choice questions carefully. To fill out the form you will need:
-medical insurance information for each child
-doctor name and phone number
-emergency contacts, at least one local and one out of state, with a cell phone for each

Please note that you cannot save your progress on this form and return to it later! Please make sure you set aside enough time to fill out the form to completion (about 10-15 minutes per child), and ensure you have the information listed above easily available.

You must submit a payment for this form to be submitted. If you wish to pay by check, please set up a "payment plan" and pay the first installation to submit the form. You can then pay the remaining balance by sending a check in to our bookkeeper, Terry Grimes, and she will remove the payment plan.

Sibling Discount and Early Bird Discount: No code is needed to receive either of these discounts. You will automatically receive the Sibling Discount of 5% off total tuition if you are enrolling two or more children in JLP, and you will automatically receive the Early Bird Discount of 5% off total tuition if you submit this registration by August 1. You can receive both of these discounts, if you register two or more students by Aug. 1!

CBB Temple Membership is required for all families enrolled in our Jewish Learning Programs. Membership is valid when membership commitment is made. If you need to renew your membership, or if you are not currently a CBB member and you would like to enroll your child in our Jewish Learning Programs, you must submit your membership renewal or new member form within 30 days of filling out this form.

It is CBB’s policy to admit all members’ children to its Jewish Learning Programs regardless of ability to pay. If you need financial assistance, please submit a separate Financial Aid Request form. Membership

Our Board of Trustees sets a recommended yearly membership gift. Many give at this level, some give an alternative amount. Those who are able, give above the recommended levels. This generosity sustains our temple in many important ways, including allowing young families, and members on fixed or lower incomes to fully participate in congregational life. No one is ever turned away for financial reasons.

Below you will see the recommended yearly membership gift levels, including the "alternative" option which allows you to select your own donation level.

3rd Grade Optional Supplemental Hebrew Programs

3rd Grade has TWO SEPARATE, OPTIONAL Hebrew Supplemental programs in addition to the regular Sunday morning program.

1. Continuing Enrollment in HIP (Prerequisite - 2nd grade HIP): The Hebrew Immersion Program, HIP, is for K-3rd grade. If your child was in HIP for 2nd grade and you want to continue, please enroll below. NOTE: Jen or Leah will be in touch with you about the weekly schedule.

2. Hebrew Weekday Option: If your child is eager to begin Hebrew studies, this is for you! No previous enrollment required. Enroll below for semi-private lessons. Jen or Leah will be in touch about scheduling. You can find more info about these programs at www.cbbsb.org.

Do you hope to carpool with another family for weekday Hebrew? If so, please list the names of all children you may carpool with below, and we will do our best to assign your child to the same Hebrew time as at least one of the children listed, although we cannot promise that we will be able to do so.

Weekday Hebrew

Students will have an hour-long Hebrew session either preceded by or followed by t'filah, for a total of 1.5 hours, starting at either 3:30 or 4:30 on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Hebrew sessions are generally in small groups, although students may be one-on-one depending on students' needs and staffing availablity. Students will likely not remain with the same teacher for the whole school year.

Priority will be given to 6th grade students, as those students will also need to enroll in trope. We will also give priority to families with more than one child taking Hebrew.

For 6th grade students, trope will take place on Wednesdays from 4-4:30 or on Thursdays from 5-5:30. Because of this, we strongly encourage 6th grade students to request either the Wednesdays from 4:30-6 Hebrew slot, which immediately follows trope, or the Thursdays 3:30-5 Hebrew slot, which immediately precedes trope. If your child is only able to sign up for Hebrew on Wednesdays from 3:30-5 or Thursdays from 4:30-6, your student will only have Hebrew for half an hour, rather than an hour, due to the timing of the trope class.

Mechina Curriculum, '25-'26

We will only offer Traditional Mechina next year. All Mechina students will take Traditional Mechina, consisting of Jewish cultural learning such as cooking and art, learning about Israel, Torah study, and discussions about current events from a Jewish perspective.

We may offer the Mechina College Class track again next year, in the '26-'27 school year. If you believe your child would be interested in taking the Mechina College Class in the '26-'27 school year, please check the box below.

We will only offer Traditional Mechina next year. We will not be offering a College Class option for Mechina in '25-'26. Starting in the '25-'26 school year, the monthly Confirmation class will now take place from 6:30-8:30 instead of late in the evening after Mechina ends! Students enrolled in both Mechina and Confirmation will attend Confirmation instead of Mechina on Confirmation class nights, and on all other nights, students will attend Mechina.

Confirmation

Starting in the '25-'26 school year, the monthly Confirmation class will take place from 6:30-8:30 pm! Students can sign up for the optional dinner from 6:00-6:30 if they would like to eat at CBB before class and socialize with the other high school students. We will send out more information about the schedule of Confirmation class dates and the optional dinner sign-ups closer to the start of the school year.

Sibling Discount

The Sibling Discount will be automatically applied! Note that you will not see the discounted tuition come off the total, as the total below already reflects the discounted rate. If you have any questions about the discounts, please email Leah, Asst. Dir. of JLP, at leah@cbbsb.org after submitting your registration form.

Financial Aid

If you are receiving financial aid, you will input your financial aid code on the following page. Please paste your financial aid code in the Discount Code box on the following page. The total will be adjusted when you hit "Confirm and Continue."

Total Tuition

If you would like to set up a payment plan to spread out this total over several months, you will be able to do so on the next page. There is no additional fee when using a payment plan.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you click "Submit" but are not able to get through to the payment page, you may have missed a required question. All required questions are marked in asterisks. The form will not automatically take you to all unanswered required questions, so please search the page for asterisks to check all required questions have been answered if the form does not go through.

All dates must be in the format MM/DD/YYYY. The form will not go through if dates are not in that format. If the form gives you a message about a missing date, you likely did not use this format.
